I am bring out a development box that I loaded the FreeBsd 2.2.2.I have two Digiboard cards that have a combined total of 8 ports. My problem is as the following 1) Logging user access since pppd does not have a umtp. How would I go about getting user login usage logs made. 2) Some of my friends are loging in on two ports using the same ID and password. How would I go about limiting using a single port for a single user ID and deny access if another port is trying to get in with the same user ID. I have been through the mailing posting and I am aware that at least 2 other people share my concern from what I had read. I am a slow C programmer willing to learn and rewrite the ppp if necessary. I have also looked at some of the LINUX usergroups to see if they have something like what I would like to implement but came up with a zip. 3)Implement a radius authentication server and my 8port dialup FreeBSD server act like a terminal server connecting to a radius server for authentication only for PPP. I have downloaded the DANNY's setting up your FREEBSD machine as a terminal dialup server package and I am in the process of trying it. Sincerely, Anthony Antony aantony@solstar.com GO BSD
