Hello, I'd say that the "swap" of $$'95 is a file inside a FAT partition. FreeBSD wants a separate whole partition to swap into or a file situated in a FFS (BSD-standard) slice. So, to share a swap partition between two OS'es, you would need to somewhat format this partition each time you boot (not a good idea when the smallest drive you can buy stores 2 Gigs).
