OK, I just installed it again on a different partition. I have attached the output from dmesg. Is this what you wanted? Is there some other way I should have taken more logs? I have just confirmed that on this box, it does not even attempt to setup the host keys, or run sshd at startup, is this supposed to happen? And also, using dhclient doesn't work properly. Touching /etc/resolv.conf causes the file to be populated with the line: nameserver 192.168.1.23 This is wierd... thanks anonymousPseudonym ------=_NextPart_000_019F_01C3EC25.9A07E6A0 Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="firstboot" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="firstboot" Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.=0A= Copyright (c) 1979, 1980, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994=0A= The Regents of the University of California.
