Did you have a chance to review the changes I proposed to add KOI8-U support to jdk ports (starting with jdk15)? The port-freeze is quickly approaching and I'd prefer to see 6.0 ship with Ukrainian (and Bielorussian) support properly in at least one of our Java offerings, even if that is our most experimental one.
