Like:

In my case TCQ started working after I upgraded the firmware in 
the drive. (RZ28 is 3.5" so you might have another example in mind)

My fw ref guide says the latest firmware for the RZ74 is either T427N
or T436A. Which one is dependent on the rev of the drive's electronics.
Downloading the wrong fw results in a paperweight!!
