We've got an IBM LTO drive in an Exabyte 221L (21 tape library) that
works fine under 4.x. That machine has an onboard adaptec controler. I
recently installed a $30 LSI U160 controler that seems to work fine with
the Mammoth M2 I plugged into it (it was cheaper to buy a new controler
then a cable for the card I had.)
