Use this as the arguments:<br>

ifconfig <i>device</i> alias xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask
0xffffffff&nbsp;&nbsp; &lt;---&nbsp; that is the same thing as
255.255.255.255<br>
<br>
So if you are using an ne2000 compatible device<br>
<br>
ifconfig ed0 alias 192.168.100.1 netmask 0xffffffff would alias
192.168.100.1 to your ed0 device.<br>
<br>
ifconfig -a will show everything on all your devices ;)<br>
