The ppp utility hangs when there is an entry in /etc/resolv.conf (for the nameserver(s)). It also hangs when the named daemon is running, as is the case when the machine comes up. Every time I boot the machine (PC), I have to kill named, comment the entries in /etc/resolv.conf, connect through ppp and then uncomment the entries in resolv.conf. Has anyone seen this problem before? Is it a known problem? -- Regards, Mahesh -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-+-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Mahesh Bhaskarpandit, | Phone: (W) 408-944-3521 Digital Microwave Corporation, | Fax: 170,Rose Orchard Way, | E-mail: Mahesh_Bhaskarpandit@dmcwave.com San Jose, CA 95134 | maheshb30@hotmail.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
