--Boundary-00=_xB0++0YhKkMN+FH Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Hi, i'm trying to compile the graphics/libungif port version 4.1.0b1 on 5.1-RELEASE, latests ports via cvsup. The configure script failes as follows: Checking whether the C++ compiler (c++ FLAGS) works... no configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot create executables notice the FLAGS in that sentence... somehow the configure script doesn't resolve the CXXFLAGS or CPPFLAGS variable set in make.conf. If i run configure by hand from work/libungif.../ it works just fine.. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the configure script, so i hope you can find it... i attached configure.log... for any questions, don't hesitate to contact me regards Chris Delnooz --Boundary-00=_xB0++0YhKkMN+FH--
