I have this in my sendmail.cf # my official domain name # ... define this only if sendmail cannot automatically determine your domain #Dj$w.Foo.COM Djntl.com so that my machine HELOs (incorectly) as ntl.com. I think this is some kind of anti-spam measure, although I have found it very confusing in the past. Bill.
