I have installed FreeBSD 2.2.7 on my secondary master hard drive. I had =
no problems during installation but when I went to boot after =
installation It started to boot normally but when it went to mount root =
it gave me an error Panic: can not mount root. I rebooted the system =
and at the boot prompt I typed wd(2,a)kernel, when I hit enter i got a =
message like Error: D:0x82 C:0 H:0 S:0. I have had this problem since =
version 2.2.6 came out. I have tried recompiling the kernel changing =
the kernel on device option to wd2, as well as a few other solutions I =
read on the newsgroups. I have not been able to get a successfull =
installation on mt machine. I have included my machine configuration =
below. I had exahsted all my other recources I hope you can help me. =
Thank you for your help.
