Hi,

Is anyone listening to mirror-admin?
Or is it OK to discuss it here in hubs?

We're running ftp2.kr.freebsd.org and trying to get permission to access
ftp-master. I sent a request to mirror-admin as the mirroring
article[1] says, but got no response for more than three weeks. :(
The message I resent a few days ago is at the end of this message.

I would be very glad to receive responses from someone who can help us.

Thanks,
-J

Hi,
I am one of the operators of ftp.kaist.ac.kr AKA ftp2.kr.freebsd.org.

We would like to mirror directly from ftp-master.freebsd.org
since ftp.kr.freebsd.org has become in an unhealthy state for a while.
We are currently using a US mirror, but we do not like the delay.
Please give us permission to access ftp-master.freebsd.org.

Is there any recommended(optimized) way for mirroring with rsync,
especially when we are also mirroring the CVS repository (with cvsup)?
I mean, is it possible to checkout some parts of the tree with cvsup?

Best Regards,
-J

P.S. This is a message resent because of no response.
