Does not compute. Old bootblocks are on the disks and nobody are changing them so they will keep working with what they work with. This change is necessary if the alpha architecture wants to be able to boot from a UFS2 filesystem in the future. The UFS2 patch btw allows the ufsread() function to be compiled in a "UFS1 only" or "UFS1 or UFS2" configuration. -- Poul-Henning Kamp | UNIX since Zilog Zeus 3.20 phk@FreeBSD.ORG | TCP/IP since RFC 956 FreeBSD committer | BSD since 4.3-tahoe Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence.
