One part you're forgetting is trimming what you're quoting to avoid exactly
what you're pointing out.


(4) I am a subscriber of many mailing lists .


This is precisely where in my opinion bottom posting shines: if done
properly, I have context immediately without having to first scroll past
the new message and then back up. I find it much more natural than top
posting.
