I did try moving the libProbList mkinstalldirs to the Windowmaker directory and that did not help (I just tried the 0.18.1b port). A couple other bits of info. I've attached a small jpg of the pixmap that appears. I now no longer get what appeared to be a Tk (maybe Gtk) based dialog box. Note I can find NO pixmap anywhere on my machine that corresponds to the one I've attached. Also, it now will finish the port install but it doesn't get libwraster.a installed (I need to do that by hand). (at least that's the only thing make deinstall complains about) -shrug- I really don't get this.
