It requires just a base setup of the FreeBSD system and the software from Real. Only disadvantage might be that it's a commercial product, but it seems to work best for most video's and has a bit better quality then other solutions. If your interested you should check www.real.com for more info about it. You'll need to get the server for freebsd (http://www.realnetworks.com/products/servers/plus/index.html?UK=X) and the realproducer for windows to create your media files.
