Thanks. Strangely enough, Maxim Sobolev committed changes to -current to do exactly the same thing (in a different way) just yesterday. Your patch won't be needed, but I do appreciate your having worked on it. You'd better watch your step if you don't want to wake up one morning and find that you've become the new maintainer of the dynamic linker. :-) Sorry I haven't replied to your earlier posting yet.
