Subject: Creative Labs PCI128 soundcard under FreeBSD?

My apologies if this question has been aired before, but does anyone
use or have details of how a Creative Labs PCI128 soundcard might be
used under FreeBSD? I'm having some problems configuring my existing
SB Pro (CT1600) card on my system (soon to be dual-boot Windows NT
4.0 & FreeBSD 3.1) - under NT the sound card driver blows-over
periodically for no apparent reason. This may of course be purely an
NT problem, but before I install FreeBSD I'd like to iron-out any
hardware funnies. Given the age of the CT1600 buying a PCI128 would
seem a good investment compared to the eternity it may take to
track-down the problem, but only if I can get the thing to work under
NT (pretty much a no-brainer) and FreeBSD.

I've taken a cursory look at the FreeBSD mail archives but so far
have turned-up nothing.
