For instance, see this entry in the file: 20090802: AFFECTS: users of devel/libtool15 and devel/libltdl15 ... portupgrade -o devel/libtool22 libtool-1.5\* portupgrade -o devel/libltdl22 libltdl-1.5\* ... The committer hasn't added an entry to UPDATING yet, but it's a good idea in this situation.
