Reply-to: metrag@cdboutique.com X-mailer: Pegasus Mail for Windows (v2.42a) Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Please, I need help on the following: I'm trying to connect my ISP using ppp but ppp will not start giving me the following message: myname# ppp ld.so failed: Can't find shared library "libdes.so.3.0" myname# I am not connected to nay network so I have to dial out to my ISP to get access to the internet. I have setup the .conf files accordingly with the FreeBSD Handbook prior to using ppp with no success! It seem that the library "libdes.so.3.0" is missing from my ../lib directory. Where can I find this library will it resolve my problem with ppp? (I have included my initial boot up messages at the end of this message) Thank you for your answer.
