to add another data point: Yesterday I've updated 4 systems: Two IDE-
based systems, which DO show this message (but I didn't notice any
problem besides this message) and two SCSI-based systems which DON'T
show this message. This indicates to me that the message is somehow
related to the IDE disk subsystem.
