Directories created in a directory with this bit set will have their group set to the group of the parent directory, instead of the XXXeffective?XXX group of the creator. I can't find this documented anywhere else, did I miss it? Apologies for bad phrasing, someone might want to rephrase it. But I hope I got my point through.
