i have tried to install the dnd library (libdnd-1.1.tgz) without success. i use the pkg_add command and everything seems to work ok, but when i go to compile a program (astrash-0.9 the afterstep recycle bin) that requires some of the files from dnd it can't find them in the specified path. i have checked the path where dnd .h and .c were placed and it is in (i think) /usr/local/include/OffiX (im not currently near the machine). i checked the Imakefile for where it thinks the dnd library files are and the path is correct. xmkmf does not give me an error but the make command does (gcc). it reports that it can't find the dnd files. i have looked at the c program to see the inlude statements and they look correct. is this a problem of adding the offix path to the library search path? if so, isn't the pkg_add supposed to do that? _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
