wired, why devd by default does this? and how to prevent?

also, syntax=20
# ifconfig bridge0 addm igb0 inet 172.22.9.14/24 up
ifconfig: inet: bad value

seems invalid (why?) and works like that:

# ifconfig bridge0 addm igb0 172.22.9.14/24 up
