As far as I can recall ... yes ... the system also works fine when I boot in Dindowz (windows :) ) Then it reads the disc etc. I also tried moving the CDROM from primary slave to secondary master .. but it acts the same. It does this with ANY disc in the drive. It returns so quickly ... it almost seems as if it's trying to access the disc even.
