Sorry for bothering again,

I finally gave in and installed X and run X using startx -bpp24 which
seems to work well with images (photo type). However when I run Netscape
3.01 (using 2.1.5 FreeBSD) I can't seem to get the graphic (photo or
drawing) smooth (tried all the option settings).

Is there a startup option that I haven't found in the manual or help
file that will bring Netscapes resolution up?

I can't believe that there is that wide a disparity between Netscape for
Windozes and BSD.
