I have a firewall, but have left it open to debug ftp. I have enabled ftp in /etc/inetd.conf and ftp exists in /etc/services. I also restarted inetd, but still no ftp. Have I missed something? Below are the detials: cat /etc/services ... ftp-data 20/tcp #File Transfer [Default Data] ftp-data 20/udp #File Transfer [Default Data] ftp 21/tcp #File Transfer [Control] ftp 21/udp #File Transfer [Control] ... cat /etc/inetd.conf ... ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/libexec/ftpd ftpd -l ftp stream tcp6 nowait root /usr/libexec/ftpd ftpd -l ...
