kdebase3 doesn't want to compile with openldap-2.3.4 although it compiles fine with openldap-2.2.27 Any suggestions would be appreciated. The specific error in kioslave follows. gmake[3]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/x11/kdebase3/work/kdebase-3.4.1/kioslave/ldap' if /bin/sh ../../libtool --silent --tag=CXX --mode=compile c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -D_THREAD_SAFE -pthread -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -D_GETOPT_H -D_THREAD_SAFE -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -DNDEBUG -DNO_DEBUG -O2 -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -D_GNU_SOURCE -MT kio_ldap.lo -MD -MP -MF ".deps/kio_ldap.Tpo" -c -o kio_ldap.lo kio_ldap.cpp; \ then mv -f ".deps/kio_ldap.Tpo" ".deps/kio_ldap.Plo"; else rm -f ".deps/kio_ldap.Tpo"; exit 1; fi In file included from kio_ldap.h:11, from kio_ldap.cpp:33: /usr/local/include/ldap.h:936:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:964:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1039:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1127:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1162:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1193:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1227:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1266:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1314:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1612:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1688:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1735:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined /usr/local/include/ldap.h:1789:5: warning: "LDAP_DEPRECATED" is not defined kio_ldap.cpp: In member function `virtual void LDAPProtocol::openConnection()': kio_ldap.cpp:707: error: `ldap_simple_bind_s' undeclared (first use this function) kio_ldap.cpp:707: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in.) kio_ldap.cpp: In member function `virtual void LDAPProtocol::closeConnection()': kio_ldap.cpp:732: error: `ldap_unbind' undeclared (first use this function) kio_ldap.cpp: In member function `virtual void LDAPProtocol::stat(const KURL&)': kio_ldap.cpp:849: error: `ldap_abandon' undeclared (first use this function) kio_ldap.cpp: In member function `virtual void LDAPProtocol::del(const KURL&, bool)': kio_ldap.cpp:880: error: `ldap_delete_s' undeclared (first use this function) kio_ldap.cpp: In member function `virtual void LDAPProtocol::put(const KURL&, int, bool, bool)': kio_ldap.cpp:984: error: `ldap_delete_s' undeclared (first use this function) kio_ldap.cpp: In member function `virtual void LDAPProtocol::listDir(const KURL&)': kio_ldap.cpp:1137: error: `ldap_abandon' undeclared (first use this function) gmake[3]: *** [kio_ldap.lo] Error 1 gmake[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/x11/kdebase3/work/kdebase-3.4.1/kioslave/ldap' gmake[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/x11/kdebase3/work/kdebase-3.4.1/kioslave' gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/x11/kdebase3/work/kdebase-3.4.1' gmake: *** [all] Error 2 *** Error code 2 Stop in /usr/ports/x11/kdebase3. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
