they are ok, i have been making buildworld/install for the last 4 days 'almost'
without a hitch.

what happens is that make picks up the wrong Makefile, not the patched one
(i have WRKDIRPREFIX=/v0/obj in /etc/make.conf)
btw, /usr/local is at the moment empty!

}(I'm not been having problems building ports generally; I've been
}re-building -STABLE & -CURRENT daily for the last couple of weeks....)
