SO, I downloaded the files to another computer on my net, and when I try to FTP them from that host, I get hangs there as well. When I do a trace on the host, it shows that I am receiving IP packets from the FreeBSD machine, but I am getting a CHKSUM error. How can I fix this? Also, what is the tool I can use to edit files on the new install? Does the floppy come with one? Thanks in advance for any help Michael Risch.
