I'm trying to set up PPP but I don't seem to be able to get my tun
started. I've followed the handbook instructions and verified that
pseudo-device tun 1 is in my kernel. I've cd'd to dev and done a
./MAKEDEV tun0. When I do ifconfig tun0 I get:
tun0: flags=8010<POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
What have I done wrong, or what can I do to correct the problem?
Thank you in advance,
Mark

You may be looking for something more in depth but I was able to
configure my box with a careful perusing of Greg Lehey's "The
Comlete FreeBSD" available from Walnut Creek (unsolicited
testimony).

Greg Martin.
