In last days I've installed some new ports (AbiWord 1.0, and Gimp 1.2.3, Gnumeric 1.0.6 etc.), perhaps some libraries are now not aligned with the gnomecore package that were installed in the past. So I've start to recompile and reinstalling new ports for gnomecore, gnomelibs, and so on but following error has stopped me: su-2.04# cd /usr/ports/graphics/libgnomecanvas su-2.04# make make ===> Building for libgnomecanvas-1.116.0 [...] cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I.. -I.. -DG_LOG_DOMAIN=\"GnomeCanvas\" -I/usr\ /local/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/local/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/local/lib/glib-2.0/\ include -I/usr/local/include/libart-2.0 -I/usr/local/include/libxml2 -I/usr/X11\ R6/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/X11R6/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/X11R6/include/pango-\ 1.0 -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/local/include/freetype2 -I/usr/local/include -I\ /usr/X11R6/include/libglade-2.0 -I/usr/local/include -O -pipe -c glade-canvas.c\ -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/glade-canvas.lo In file included from /usr/X11R6/include/glade/glade-build.h:25, from glade-canvas.c:35: /usr/X11R6/include/glade/glade-xml.h:26: gtk/gtkdata.h: No such file or directo\ ry In file included from /usr/X11R6/include/glade/glade-build.h:25, from glade-canvas.c:35: /usr/X11R6/include/glade/glade-xml.h:44: syntax error before `GtkData' /usr/X11R6/include/glade/glade-xml.h:54: syntax error before `GtkDataClass' glade-canvas.c:41: syntax error before `static' glade-canvas.c: In function `glade_module_register_widgets': glade-canvas.c:83: `glade_standard_build_widget' undeclared (first use in this \ function) glade-canvas.c:83: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once glade-canvas.c:83: for each function it appears in.) gmake[2]: *** [glade-canvas.lo] Error 1 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/graphics/libgnomecanvas/work/libgnomeca\ nvas-1.116.0/glade' gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 Then I've tried to rebuild gtkglarea with success, but this error continues. Please, tell me what I've to deinstall and remove from the gnome 1.4 previous installation to be able to use the current ports of Gnome. I would like to understand what it is the path to get my gnome environment update without have big troubles every time I update a gnome program. Thank you in advance, \fer PS: I've a FreeBSD 4.5-stable (Intel) and the ports collection update to yesterday via cvsup.
