The Debian package of Thunar lists xfce4-panel as a recommendation and makes no mention of xfce4-mcs-manager. I've been using openbox and I installed the Thunar port for file management but I was surprised when the config dialogs came up for xfce4-mcs-manager and xfce4-panel. thanks, Will
