So! He doesn't have any responsibility to respond to all of your posts. He can respond to whichever ones he wants and ignore all the rest. That goes for selectively editing. That is part of the recommended behavior on the list - to edit out the parts not specifically relevant to the response so people don't have to wade through a lot of irrelevant crap to find the actual response.
