Extended memory question. Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-hackers@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I get a "kmem_suballoc" panic. kmem_suballoc: bad status return of 3 Any ideas why? Kernel is compiled with MAXMEM=523264. The memory is seen by the BIOS boot. Also, my BIOS has a setting for AT compatibility mode enabled/disabled. What does this mean, and what effect may it have on FreeBSD?
