The first machine works just fine. You can set the console redirection in the BIOS so that you can also interact with the BIOS over an out-of-band modem (very useful!). However, when we went to install the 1U system, we were only able to see the prompts up to the point where FreeBSD began the boot process. This doesn't make sense, as our configs are all the same (port address, boot.config, etc.). Our boot.config files contain "-P -D -h". So, while we have a support call into VALinux about this issue, I'm wondering if there might be a FreeBSD-related issue instead. Surely someone else has been bitten by this. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. _F To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
