I have a quick and probably braindead question.
 
my PC currently has 2 disk partitions on a really big disk.  One is for MS-DOS
and Windows and the other is for Windows NT.  I am going to rearrange my
partitions to make room for FreeBSD to occupy about half of the disk.

Now, here is my question:

Does the boot manager that is installed with FreeBSD live in peace and harmony
with the boot manager that gets installed with Windows NT?  If it does than it
may be handy to install the OS on my company PC as well to make getting to the
HP machines easier.

By the way, I notice that the Walnut Creek CD-ROM of FreeBSD apears to be 
missing the DES encryption libraries, etc.  Do I need these to get along with
the UNIX network at my job?
