When I try to log in via GDM, I get the following error in the logfiles:

libGL error: failed to open drm device: Permission denied
libGL error: failed to load driver: i965
gnome-session-check-accelerated: GL Helper exited with code 512
libEGL warning: DRI2: could not open /dev/dri/card0 (Permission denied)
gnome-session-check-accelerated: GLES Helper exited with code 512
libGL error: failed to open drm device: Permission denied
libGL error: failed to load driver: i965

I am using a patch for libgtop described in this bug:
