Every several hours my wifi connection is lost. Removing tunnings from sysctl.conf, tuning different setings on wifi router (disabling MAC Filteri= ng, chnging Beacon Interval/DTIM Interval/DHCP Address Lease Time/Group Key Upd= ate Period) didn't help. When connection is lost ifconfig shows nothing special, status stays 'associated'. pinging shows following: $ ping 192.168.0.1=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20= =20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20= =20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 PING 192.168.0.1 (192.168.0.1): 56 data bytes ping: sendto: Host is down ping: sendto: Host is down ping: sendto: Host is down ping: sendto: Host is down ^C --- 192.168.0.1 ping statistics --- 4 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss Wifi card is: ath0@pci0:2:0:0: class=3D0x028000 card=3D0x3116168c chip=3D0x0030168= c rev=3D0x01 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Qualcomm Atheros' device =3D 'AR93xx Wireless Network Adapter' class =3D network cap 01[40] =3D powerspec 3 supports D0 D1 D3 current D0 cap 05[50] =3D MSI supports 4 messages, 64 bit, vector masks=20 cap 10[70] =3D PCI-Express 2 endpoint max data 128(128) RO link x1(x1) speed 2.5(2.5) ASPM disabled(L0s/L1) ecap 0001[100] =3D AER 1 0 fatal 0 non-fatal 2 corrected ecap 0002[140] =3D VC 1 max VC0 ecap 0003[300] =3D Serial 1 0000000000000000 When I do 'reassociate' command inside wpa_cli shell connection restores.
