the only people who have previously notified me of their hardware setup who
have a cs46xx chip have it paired with an ac97 chip, not an isa chip such as
the cs4239.  obviously i'm interested in setups where this is not the case,
but this thread is the first such info i've seen.  it may well be that in
the cs46xx/cs423x case we can simply ignore the cs46xx chip, but i would not
want to declare this setup to be supported without several success reports.
