The latest update to x11/kde3 (the metaport for KDE) makes this port pull i=

ALL modules of KDE by default. This means, if you have x11/kde3 installed a=

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET ALL OF KDE DURING YOUR NEXT PORTUPGRADE RUN, SET
MINIMAL_KDE=3DYES
IN YOUR /etc/make.conf


Details:

The OLD metaport installed the following modules:

kdebase, kdegraphics, kdelibs, kdemultimedia, kdenetwork, koffice, kdeutils.
This was a set chosen for (now obsolete) release engineering reasons.

The UPDATED port _by default_ installs the complete KDE distribution, which=
=20
consists of:

kdeaddons, kdeadmin, kdeartwork, kdedevelop, kdeedu, kdegames, kdegraphics,=
=20
kdemultimedia, kdenetwork, koffice, kdepim, kdesdk, kdetoys, kdeutils, quan=
ta

If you have MINIMAL_KDE defined, the UPDATED port will install

kdebase, kdelibs
This is the minimal required installation for running KDE.
