It will run fine, but it will looping like crazy with flood of error messages.. I think, I noticed that the themes display incorrect like couldn't show metacity theme.. Not sure what theme is supposed to be look like. Anyway, here's error messages: ================================== (gnome-theme-manager:24844): Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkwindow.c: line 788 (gdk_window_is_viewable): assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed (gnome-theme-manager:24844): Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkwindow.c: line 788 (gdk_window_is_viewable): assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed (gnome-theme-manager:24844): Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkwindow.c: line 788 (gdk_window_is_viewable): assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed [...goes on...] ================================== So, I tried to run it under the gdb and here's what I am getting: ================================== $ gdb gnome-theme-manager (gdb) r Starting program: /usr/X11R6/bin/gnome-theme-manager Program received signal SIGPIPE, Broken pipe. 0x28b5a26f in write () from /usr/lib/libc.so.5 (gdb) bt #0 0x28b5a26f in write () from /usr/lib/libc.so.5 #1 0x289a1bbf in _write () from /usr/lib/libc_r.so.5 #2 0x289a1d05 in write () from /usr/lib/libc_r.so.5 #3 0x0805728e in generate_theme_thumbnail (meta_theme_info=0x80db340, clear_cache=0) at theme-thumbnail.c:478 #4 0x0804f16b in load_meta_themes (tree_view=0x8099bf0, meta_theme_list=0x8211e00) at gnome-theme-manager.c:447 #5 0x0804f4c2 in update_themes_from_disk (dialog=0x80ec480) at gnome-theme-manager.c:575 #6 0x0805071d in setup_dialog (dialog=0x80ec480) at gnome-theme- manager.c:1148#7 0x08050e2d in main (argc=1, argv=0xbfbffb8c) at gnome- theme-manager.c:1411 #8 0x0804dc79 in _start () ================================== Right now, I am rebuilding the libc(_r) with the debug.. So, if you need another gdb with libc(_r) compiled with debug, just let me know. Cheers, Mezz -- bsdforums.org 's moderator, mezz.
