Hello,
I am currently trying to set up vinum to do RAID-5 with FreeBSD 3.3. I
think I am taking the correct steps but when I finally go to create the
volume the vinum manager reports there is no space availabe on the
individual disks. Here is the error I am talking about:
D a State: up Device /dev/da0e Avail:
130/22130 MB (0%)
D b State: up Device /dev/da1e Avail:
130/22130 MB (0%)
D c State: up Device /dev/da2e Avail:
130/22130 MB (0%)
D d State: up Device /dev/da3e Avail:
130/22130 MB (0%)
I am using this config file:
drive a device /dev/da0e
drive b device /dev/da1e
drive c device /dev/da2e
drive d device /dev/da3e
volume raid5
plex org raid5 512k
sd length 22000m drive a
sd length 22000m drive b
sd length 22000m drive c
sd length 22000m drive d
Does anybody see anything wrong?
Thanks..bye
