Hello list! I just installed gnome2 from ports on my FreeBSD 4.6-STABLE system. When I try to start X I get this msg that says "The GNOME Session manager (process 123456) has crashed due to a fatal error (Segmentation fault). When you close this dialog, all applications will close and your session will exit. Please save all your files before closing this dialog." I don't get any core file, all I see when X shuts down is: **(process:123456): WARNING **: CORBA_ORB_destroy: ORB still has 2 refs. _IceTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.ICE-unix should be set to root SESSION_MANAGER=local/smulan:/tmp/.ICE-unix/97789 I haven't got a clue what could be wrong so I'd be greatfull for any advice given. Kind regards, marcus To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-gnome" in the body of the message
