> bash shell was not installed by default, you need to install that from the > cd or from ports. Umm... NO....! This is why questions are not supposed to be asked on -newbies. You're going to have to reboot the system into single user mode, mount the drive then change the shell. I don't know the exact commands, but if you search the mailing archive, or ask in -questions somebody a little more experienced will be able to help you.
