Actually, I should probably change that.  It's *best* to just get 3.0. 
It's
possible load the driver into an installation that doesn't support it
"out of
the box" but it's something of a hassle to do.  I'd point ya to the docs
on
how to do that, but I don't offhand know where they're at.
