It's in the book :-) "devel - Development utilities. - Do not put libraries here just because they are libraries--unless they truly do not belong anywhere else, they should not be in this category." libnoise produces quite audible noise and is used in some games to produce the sound of engine and what not. I can't see why it doesn't belong in audio.
