Probably, but you can use 4.8-RELEASE-alpha-miniinst.iso instead of it: the mini-iso is a sub set of disc1, missing such things as the XFree86 packages. Once you've got your machine booted into FreeBSD you can install the ports tree and cvsup(1) and grab the rest of what you want that way instead. Hmmm.. the disk1 iso appears to be missing =66rom the ISO-IMAGES/5.1 directory for everything but the i386 arch.
