Hello I am having problems with xserver on my machine. I have installed version 3.2 and it is working fine. I have a SiS 6326 card of which the drivers are listed I also have a trident 9440 card of which the drivers are also listed. I have a meccer 14" monitor. I run xf86config and give the following answers: 1 for mouse n for chordmiddle y for 3 buttons /dev/sysmouse y for xkb 1 for keyboard 5 for monitor type 2 for hz 540 for card 3 for server y for symbolic link 5 for memory enter for no clockchip no for X -probeonly change all modes to 800x600 5 for modes ok then save then "startx" when x starts all i get is 3 wired coloured terminals and if fills only 80% of the screeen.
