The review: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D45476 mfi: default to using mrsas(4) for newer cards However, we have a report of volume corruption with the IBM ServeRAID M5110e when used with the mrsas driver: PR196820 IBM x3650, ServeRAID M5110e, volumes corrupted after boot with mrsas driver Clearly we do not want to corrupt users' RAID volumes, so I would like to request feedback from mfi/mrsas users in general, and M5110e users in particular. Note that there may be a possibility of data corruption, so please investigate only on test systems. To test, set the loader tunable hw.mfi.mrsas_enable=1 in /boot/loader.conf. Confirm that mrsas is being used, and that the system functions properly.
